We stopped at Rhino Sanctuary on the way to Murchinson Falls.  We booked two rooms and a rhino guided tour!  At 4:00pm we started out . . .
We saw seven rhinos, two of them babies! One of the teenagers was named Obama, because his mother was American (from an American zoo) and his father Kenyan! Dad (MY Dad) thought that was very funny.
We had top stay thirty metres away from the rhinos, because . . .

if we were any closer they`d charge. If they do, we`re supposed to climb a tree. Like that was going to stop us from getting killed, all the trees were so spindly! Well, I`m glad it didn`t come to that.
We also go to feed two baby redbacks (deer) named Jakie and Alex. Alex was so aggressive during feeding, and even when the bottle was finished he was still sucking on it  violently.

Their mom's were eaten by leopards, and if the sanctuary hadn`t brought them in, they probably would have died. When they stop needing milk the sanctuary will let them go back into the wild... They are so cute!
We now call Grace a baby rhinosarous, because they are nocturnal -  they sleep all day and are very active at night!
Bye,
Allie
