Have you ever heard of India being cold, besides the Himmalayas? No, me neither. But I was freezing, even when bundled up in two sweaters and a shawl!
We left the Ashram and took several plane rides, finally arriving in Jaipur, in the state of Rajasthan. Cold! Mom and Dad had arranged a guy from the hotel to pick us up at the airport, then drive us to the Pearl Palace. A lot of people include 'palace' in their hotel name to attract more tourists, but this one was really fit for it! It was a normal hotel for us in Canada, but this time in budget price!
    The Pearl Palace is . . .

_ dotted with little details, which really make it a kid-friendly place. A painting, puppet or statue decorate every corner of the hotel. Bowls filled with water and floating flower petals combined with happy-coloured walls make a charming, fun, free and cozy atmosphere!
The Peackcock roof-top restaurant is amazing too, and we were greeted by cozy fires and clean blankets when we went up for dinner. It's covered with greenery and little details, like peacock and monkey statues. They serve the best masala chai and the service is great, not to mention the hassle free shop! Yes, there is such a thing as hassle-free in India!
After having rats scurry over us in the night, the rooms at the Pearl were luxurious. The towels are even folded into swans! I named one Laurice. The beds are loaded with blankets, and there is even room service, although we don't like getting crumbs all over, so we didn't use it that much.
One night we were having dinner and the owner, Mr. Singh, asked us how we liked his hotel. We talked a while, and then he showed us something really cool. If you search Mr. Singh on the internet, he comes up first! Some of you must think 'oh ya, cool, whatever', but in the Sikh religion there are only five last names! So Mr. Singh is not only one in a million, but one in six million!
Mr. Singh also has another hotel called Pearl Palace Heritage, and Mom and Dad went and checked it out. If possible, it's even nicer, so they booked it for the 29, our last night in India.
