- Mai ben drai = no problem

- Ben drai mai = is there a problem?

Also, what I found was that in Phuket everybody said it very precisely and fast, but in Bangkok people hold the last sylable.
We leave tommorrow for India. I've only heard bad things about India. Even someone who lived there could only tell me;
"Oh, it's great but watch out for..." and then he listed about fifteen bad things. So if you have anything to boost my spirit please comment.
Thanks,

"India is the cradle of the human race, the birthplace of human speech, the mother of history, the grandmother of legend, and the great grand mother of tradition. Our most valuable and most astrictive materials in the history of man are treasured up in India only!" By Mark Twain

Not sure if this quote helps. Hope it does! Love ya lots.

Your trip sounds out of this world! I'm so glad you are enjoying yourself! Don't worry too much about India. I had many students who went there to visit family and they always had nice things to say. I do know that peacocks roam around like sparrows do here. You will find peacock feathers every where I am told. When my students would return from their holiday they would bring bouquets of peacock feathers back!

We want to wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
We are thinking of you and hope where ever you are in India you are enjoying yourselves immensely.
With love hugs and kisses from us all

Hope to hear from you soon
Love you
